Reserving the Ruins
There is a fee to individuals wanting to hold events such as weddings, photo shoots, filming, concerts etc. at the Ruins. The Friends of the Ruins are pleased to provide further information on our projects.

Hours of Operation
The Ruins are open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During the summer months a curator will be onsite from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are now booking events for weddings, photography sessions and special events. Contact us to make your enquiries.

St. Raphael’s Ruins are located in South Glengarry on County Road 18 (The King’s Road). It is situated approximately 25 minutes east of Cornwall, 20 minutes south of Alexandria and 15 minutes north of Lancaster. The ruins are an easy day-trip from either Ottawa or Montreal (about an hour’s drive).
Directions
From Ottawa
Take Highway 417 east to the Alexandria exit 35. Head south then turn right onto Highway 34. Head south until you reach Brown House Corner, then head west on County Road 18 until you reach St. Raphael’s Ruins.
From Montreal
Head west on Highway 20. Continue along Highway 401 from the Ontario border until you reach the Lancaster Exit 814. Head north on Highway 34. Head north until you reach Brown House Corner, then head west on County Road 18 until you reach St. Raphael’s Ruins.
From Toronto
Take Highway 401 east until the Lancaster exit 814. Head north on Highway 34. Head north until you reach Brown House Corner, then head west on County Road 18 until you reach St. Raphael’s Ruins.
